They say demography is destiny. Let’s look at just 4 numbers and see what they tell us. The numbers are the percentage of white British in England and Wales in the census figures for the ten-year intervals 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021. Plotted on a chart, they look like this:

The red dotted line is a simple straight-line extrapolation. No sophisticated models. If the trend over the period 1991-2021 continues, white British will become a minority in their own country by around 2060.
They will be an overall minority, but still the largest minority.
The straight-line projection may not represent what is happening on the ground. Boris Johnson significantly increased immigration from 2020-2024, so the line probably accelerated downwards, such that it will cross the 50% line sooner.
While hitting the 50% line means white British people will not be a majority, they will still be the largest ethnic group. For a while anyway.
The next General Election (currently scheduled for 2029) may well be the last opportunity to turn this around, provided enough people vote Reform.
